My darling, what if you started believing you were beautiful?

How would your world change? What in your life would shift out of darkness and into light?

What would happen if you walked confidently in who you are?

What if you started believing you were beautiful?

You see, there’s this mighty love flowing throughout the world. God’s love. And did you know that that love abides in you? It not only finds it’s place in the events of the world but also dwells inside your heart, mind, and soul. The love that is in you is God. God is love. God is in you.

That love; the love that God is, defeated all darkness at the cross. All the sin that was, is, and is-to-come has been vanquished by the love that abides in and moves through you. That powerful love, such powerful beauty, reflects on you, daughter of the Most High God.

You are beautiful.

His love has made you beautiful; against all the odds running through your mind in an attempt to counteract that solid truth. His love has made you beautiful.

What would happen if you started believing that you are beautiful?

This is what I know.

If you did believe you are beautiful, you would see just how dearly beloved you are. You would see that beauty does not come from the things you wear; the way you act; or what you say. You would see that your true beauty; the beauty that God has given you, comes from His love inside of you. His love which heals and sustains you, shines through you to reflect a beauty so divine in nature and abounding in love. Your beauty is the light of God’s love made visible to the world.

If you did believe you were beautiful, you would see that His love; the love which eradicates every fear and lie, in and out of existence, is within you. And because that love is in you, it means that you embody the power of that love. That love is what makes you beautiful and it’s what has saved you.

If you finally believed you are beautiful, you would come to discover the girl you’ve been searching for this whole time; the one you’ve always longed to be, she’s right there. She’s in you. She is you. She’s you and no one else. You can’t do anything or become someone else to find you. You can only be you. The you that you truly are is found when the lies are torn down by the fierce love burning inside of you.

So let that fiery love break through. Let it reach into the depths of your heart, mind, and soul to break down the lies that say you aren’t good enough or you have to do more to be more. They have no place in your heart and hold no dominion over who God says you are. Those lies, the lies of the one who lives to only tear you down, hold no weight against the truth of the Father. Don’t let the enemy win. Don’t let him get what he wants. He doesn’t deserve it just as much as you don’t deserve to be told your worthless. Don’t let him win. 

 

What would happen if you started believing you were beautiful?

I believe you would become unstoppable.
