Home. It’s hard to pinpoint where exactly home is these days.

I’ve spent the last 6 months traveling between the States, England, and Chile. During that time abroad, my family moved yet again. Since being home, I have found myself in a new house, new location, new neighborhood, new church, new everything. This is how my life has been for most of my 18 years. Especially in the past five. God has been calling me to different places around the world while He’s also been moving my family around from place-to-place. Continue reading “home.”

cafe wonderings.

Right now I am tucked away in a secluded corner of our small-town Starbucks, sipping coffee, and typing away as rain pours down outside. It’s just me and my thoughts, surrounded by the smell of brewing coffee and sound of pattering rain.

Monday evenings here are a ghost town. Presently the population of this small coffee shop consists of me, a business man typing away, a college student bearing a puzzled expression that screams “math,” and three, green-apron-clad baristas behind the counter.  Continue reading “cafe wonderings.”
